E-mail thread
John,I truly hope this was meant in jest. Perhaps as I have aged my recognition of humor is a bit dull. If it was not meant in jest, that is not only unfortunate, but in my opinion inappropriate for this forum. In any case, ALL of us look forward to reuniting and seeing you. Steve-----
Re: Hello BrothersGents-Good you read about many of you still being alive and so forth. I would like to ask Jim Monroe be stricken from the chain, as I reached out to him on numerous occasions during my tenure in the greater Washington area and was essentially told - "You're not married, therefore we do not have enough in common for me to bother catching a few cocktails with you." Now, I realize with all the holy friendship floating about many of you will think we should give him another chance. I can live with that but wanted to get my thoughts on the subject out there, which are;fuck himMerely one man's opinion. And I do seem to have married and procreated since suffering his abuse. So it goes,John415-305-1984On 4/27/07,

He and Brother Hinkle along with Brother Win will be establishing a link on the SIG EP VA ALPHA (Personally, I prefer "MOTHER ALPHA") website. We should have something up and running by next week. There has been some talk of a Baltimore based event as it puts everyone within a manageable distance.

Subject: RE: Hello Brothers Carter Ashton Jenkins, Franklin Webb Kerfoot and Archer Yeatts would all be proud of the example of communication the brothers of Mother Alpha have demonstrated. Last night was a banner night. We got feedback from brothers Van Buren, Little, Ciriello, Cowell and Lambert. Smeetay and I even chatted yesterday. Looks like we're building a thought into reality. Now that the ball is rolling and we are getting some tangible numbers, I suggest we take some thought and care to how we can best pull this off, ensuring the greatest attendance. I had suggested coming up to NY, but we have many who still live near the lodge (I hear Rege, Casey, Win and DaNolt still hang at the lodge with Beau Hotchkiss), and in fact Remco recommended we rent the lodge. Many of us are way up north as well. Therefore, my suggestion would be that we look into any potential gathering spots somewhere in the middle. Richmond to NYC is about 7 hrs, so how about a location 3.5 hrs between. Please throw in any suggestions. Maybe a public camping grounds where we can reserve space, tables, playground for kids, ball field ..etc....? HFF, Boy.
RE: Hello Brothers Guys, Man is this blast from the past. Glad to hear from all of you and kudos to the Boy for getting this going. It's been 10-12 years since I've been back to UR even though I live 45 minutes away. I guess when I left I cherished the memories I left with so much that I chose not to create any new ones. I hope all of your lives have been as blessed as mine in the 25 years that has past and I'm really looking forward to catching up with everyone. BL
I'm in, I don't care where it is. My wife is banging my neighbor (and Lawson...and Lambert), so f-ck her. Can't wait Dave Cowell
